Panashe Chingombe

Panashe is a Microbiology and Molecular Biology graduate who attended Manchester Metropolitan University. He finished his studies and went on to practise his degree in the field of wastewater treatment for a very short duration as he quickly discovered he had an affinity for working with people. It is then Panashe joined a company called Tag campaigns and was introduced to a number of Charity Organisation. Working with these amazing humanitarian charities such as Merlin, Water Aid and Save the Children , Panashe was inspired to make a difference in a community in Zimbabwe, Gutu area. 2 years later he had 2 disadvantaged kids from this community he was providing support for. We are now in 2020 and Panashe has now helped to set up Tanaka ETL which aims to help 100’s of children in Zimbabwe to access education.

Shamiso Maworera
Outreach team
Shamiso Maworera is a philanthropist with wealth of experience. In 2012 she joined a Catholic Charity Association named Saint Vincent de Paul, in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe, which helps children with mental and physical disabilities. Shamiso’s role has been to assist the children in terms of sourcing out their medication supplies, food assistance and maintaining their basic welfare which she is still involved with to date. In 2018 Shamiso worked successfully as a team leader in the planning committee who spearheaded and organised a successful fundraising dinner for St Monica Catholic Church, in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe to help raise funds to build a community gathering place. To summarise her philanthropist work one can safely conclude that Shamiso is an experienced program organiser with a performance history in community development, skilled in leadership, administration, project planning and public speaking.
Shamiso has joined Tanaka ETL to help us realise our objectives and she brings wealth of knowledge and experience.

Roy Chingombe
Project Manager
ROY CHINGOMBE is a trained social scientist holding a Bachelor of Psychology degree. He has been contracted by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority working in Excise capacity and has been involved with various charities since 2008. He has been the Technical Cooperation Director of a non profit organization. In this capacity he was responsible for the effective implementation of the organizations programming activities, budget tracking and periodic progress reports. Roy brings a lot of wealth in experience of tactical management and methodologies in operational management.

Social Worker
To be able deliver the best possible service to our benefactors, we need an addition to our team with the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Children Studies, etc.) and 1 year of relevant experience.
Experience in counseling, social work, or other related field;
Clear understanding of and interest in the wellbeing of vulnerable children, and supporting their healing if need be
Understanding of case management, psychosocial support and life skills programming to promote progress in school
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality where necessary but always prioritising the child’s well being
Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting.
